RumenGlas ruminant feed additive
RumenGlas ruminant feed additive reduces methane emissions from enteric fermentation by 30%.

Highly Effective
GlasPort Bio has developed RumenGlas, a ruminant feed additive suitable for all livestock production systems to reduce methane emissions from enteric fermentation.
Composed of proven safe ingredients, these has been shown to be highly effective in reducing methane release while not having any negative effects on dry matter digestibility. This additive does not produce harmful residues nor negatively impact on the texture/taste of meat or milk.
Unlike other additives, RumenGlas has a persistent effect in reducing methane for a lengthy period of time following feeding.
Reduce emissions
Acts selectively on methane-producing microbes within the rumen greatly reducing methane emissions from enteric fermentation.
Safe ingredients
RumenGlas is composed of ingredients which have been shown to be safe and non-toxic to animals and humans.
Meat & milk quality
Following its action in the rumen, RumenGlas breaks down into harmless compounds leaving no residues, tainting or adverse taste of meat and milk.
Animal performance
Energy within feed previously lost to the animal as methane burping is diverted to the animal allowing for greater animal performance from daily feeds.
Mixed Ration
TMR (Total Mixed Ration) – development of the feed additive for inclusion into a TMR/PMR (Partial Mixed Ration) feeding system.

Concentrate / Nut
Incorporation of the additive into a feed nut. Suitable for intensive livestock systems and for some forms of extensive or pasture-based systems.
For example, dairy cows brought indoors twice-a-day for milking, where consumption of a nut ration during milking shall allow the suppression of methane emissions between milkings when on pasture.
Slow-release / Long-acting
Development of a long-acting bolus which allows for the slow-release of the feed additives over extended periods of time. Particularly suitable for extensive/pasture-based livestock systems.

RTE News Interview with GasAbate User
It [GasAbate] didn't affect my operation in any way. The installing of it, the running of it doesn't affect my farming operation in any way. The benefit to me is reduced agitation, reduced foaming in the slurry, reduced odor and hopefully increased nutrients in the slurry.

The greatest problem solvers
We are, after all, the greatest problem solvers to have ever existed on Earth. If working apart, we are a force powerful enough to destabilize our planet. Surely working together, we are powerful enough to save it.

The GasAbate innovation is disruptive
The [GasAbate] innovation is disruptive and would be a game-changing technology. The impact for the environment is significant and it would put Europe worldwide on the leading edge
